Our 8.8-inch lunch plates are ideal for a light meal any time of the day. Formed from high-fire, restaurant-grade porcelain, these plates are both oven-safe and freezer-safe. The clean lines and scooped edges are designed to keep food in place and safe from slipping off the edge. A note on packaging: We've taken great care in new packaging methods to remove all styrofoam and bubble wrap from the packaging to be friendlier to the environment.

Note: The factory doing our porcelain dinnerware uses co-generation technology to make sure that no heat generated during the manufacturing process is wasted. Dispersed heat from the kiln area is captured and diverted into two uses:

1) As heat to dry the wet, newly-formed clay bodies to prepare them for firing

2) For use in electricity generation to fuel the co-generation plant that runs the air conditioning for the offices.
